Administrative Assistant

Cape Town based architecture and interior design studio working on both local and international projects is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our admin department to support the team and help ensure the studio runs smoothly and efficiently. The position will be office based until successfully completed probation period, therefore a hybrid model to be implemented with specific requirements.
The role is suited to a highly organised, proactive and approachable individual, and preference will be given to individuals that have worked in a similar capacity and environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable juggling multiple tasks, thinking ahead and anticipating what needs to be done, and stepping in wherever support is required in a busy design studio.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric/Grade 12;
- A minimum of 3-5 years related experience;
- Highly proficient in the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook);
- Excellent command of the English language, with strong written and verbal communication skills
suitable for professional correspondence; - Strong organisational skills and attention to detail;
- Good financial understanding;
- Proactive, able to use their initiative and work independently;
- A self-starter who is comfortable managing multiple priorities;
- Positive attitude and strong team player;
- Experience with Adobe Suite programmes and Xero accounting software advantegous.
Key Responsibilities:
- General administrative support to the architecture and design team;
- Assisting with day-to-day studio operations;
- Coordinating travel arrangements and schedules;
- Providing basic IT support and coordination when required;
- Assisting with financial administration and documentation;
- Supporting the winder team wherever required, to ensure projects and the studio run smoothly.

We are seeking a candidate who brings positive energy, strong communication skills, and a proactive mindset to their work and to the team.
Requirements:
- 2–3 years professional experience in an architectural practice;
- Experience or exposure to high-end residential and/or hospitality projects;
- Strong technical ability and detailing skills;
- Revit proficiency is essential;
- 3D visualisation and rendering skills essential (Twinmotion or Enscape);
- Strong design sensibility and attention to detail.

Interior Designer

We are seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our design studio, working across a diverse portfolio of hospitality and high-end residential projects, both locally and abroad.
The ideal candidate will be confident in their design, technically solid, and able to take ownership of their work, from concept through to documentation. We are a team that values good energy, clear communication, and a shared commitment to delivering beautifully considered spaces.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience in interior design, or an Architect with interior design experience.
- A self-starter with the ability to manage tasks and deadlines independently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong design and spatial planning skills, backed by solid documentation abilities.
- Able to take concepts through to fully coordinated documentation, ensuring all design intent is accurately realised and fully functional in practice.
- Proficiency in Revit and other industry-standard design tools (essential).
- Twin Motion 3D rendering skills (advantageous).

We are seeking a highly talented Interior Designer with strong FF&E expertise to join our studio, working on a diverse portfolio of hospitality and high-end residential projects, locally and internationally.
The ideal candidate combines natural design talent, sharp intellect, and excellent attentiveness, with the ability to retain and apply insights from meetings and design reviews to inform and strengthen their work. They will be confident in taking concepts through to fully documented, buildable solutions, ensuring furniture, fittings, and layouts are not only aesthetically pleasing, but also functional and ergonomically sound. Requirements:
- A minimum of 3–5 years of professional experience, with a strong focus on FF&E design, sourcing and specification for hospitality and luxury residential projects.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong design sensibility, with an eye for materials, textiles, furniture, finishes and styling.
- Strong understanding of ergonomics, human factors and functional detailing in interior design.
- Solid understanding of specification processes, documentation standards and supplier coordination.
- Proficiency in Revit and other industry-standard design tools (essential).
