Cape Town based architecture and interior design studio working on both local and international projects is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our admin department to support the team and help ensure the studio runs smoothly and efficiently. The position will be office based until successfully completed probation period, therefore a hybrid model to be implemented with specific requirements.

The role is suited to a highly organised, proactive and approachable individual, and preference will be given to individuals that have worked in a similar capacity and environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable juggling multiple tasks, thinking ahead and anticipating what needs to be done, and stepping in wherever support is required in a busy design studio.

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric/Grade 12;
• A minimum of 3-5 years related experience;
• Highly proficient in the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook);
• Excellent command of the English language, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  suitable for professional correspondence;
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail;
• Good financial understanding;
• Proactive, able to use their initiative and work independently;
• A self-starter who is comfortable managing multiple priorities;
• Positive attitude and strong team player;
• Experience with Adobe Suite programmes and Xero accounting software advantegous.

Key Responsibilities:

• General administrative support to the architecture and design team;
• Assisting with day-to-day studio operations;
• Coordinating travel arrangements and schedules;
• Providing basic IT support and coordination when required;
• Assisting with financial administration and documentation;
• Supporting the winder team wherever required, to ensure projects and the studio run smoothly.
