Name

Djibouti Palace Kempinski

project information

The Djibouti Palace Kempinski Hotel is a luxury resort and business hotel, located on the coast of the Red Sea. The interior design draws from a wide variety of both African and Arabic influences derived from the rich local history, serving as the driving force throughout the design. Many of the interiors are evocative of Djibouti’s past as a gateway to Africa for trades from Arabia and the Far East, while the modern interpretation of these influences is seen at the Grand Barra cafe, which looks to Djibouti’s future.
